Short description: Client/Server comm component C++ library for TCP/IP winsock network communication across a network such as the internet or a private network (intranet or LAN [local area net]). CSC4C uses the standard Windows API to communicate with other programs across any TCP sockets network. Features include: Can be used to create both clients and servers. Supports one time passwords for improved security. Can send and receive data buffers or entire files. Servers can handle multiple connections concurrently. Allows multiple servers and clients to run simultaneously. Can specify the maximum number of connections that the server will accept when listening on any one port. Create chat programs. Free technical support and updates for one year. Royalty free distribution with your compiled application. Can be used from GUI mode or console mode programs. Is fully thread safe. Supports most Windows C/C++ compilers (Microsoft [all versions Visual C++ , C++ .NET and C# .NET], Borland, Watcom, LCC-WIN32, etc.). Can be used with Microsoft Foundation Class and Borland C++ Builder programs. Does not depend on support libraries. Makes calls to Windows API functions only. Can also use with Delphi, Visual Basic (VB.NET), PowerBASIC, Visual FoxPro, Visual dBase, Xbase++, and COBOL. Source code available for the DLL. Programmer's, Reference, and Users Manuals provided.
